What Type of Information do we Collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website(s) or provide to us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

Why do we Collect such Personal Information?

When you purchase a product or service or when you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number, email address, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We may use your personal information in order to:

  • Provide you with the products and services you require.
  • Send you information about your account and order.
  • Set up your account for our store and we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
  • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them, and contact you in relation to special offers, newsletters, information and updates from ourselves or from relevant third parties.
  • Inform you of upgrades to your use of our services, and the ways the products and services provided to you could be improved.
  • Bill you for services provided by us to you.

We will also store comments or reviews from all physical, on-line and digital media, if you choose to leave them. When you leave comments or reviews, including media and or other data, on the site we collect and fully reserve the right to publish (or not) the data provided; including the comments, the persons name, their photograph, their company name, company logo and any other content they chose to provide in their comment or review.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  5. To comply with Irish laws and regulations.

How Long We Store your Data

We generally store personal information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for up to six (6) years years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

Transferring your information outside of Europe

As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to Ireland. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing. If we transfer your information outside of the EU in this way, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Policy.

If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with those services.

Who on our Team has Access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, our Administrators can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, provide services, process refunds and support you.

Security

Our company website uses Google servers with WP Engine to provides us with the online platform that allows us to offer and sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through WordPress’s data storage, databases and the associated applications and they store your data on secure servers. 

Our social media channels rely on the specific social media platform for security and some of our digital resources are based on Zoho.

All direct payment gateways are offered by WooCommerce and Stripe. Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry helping to ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Disclosure

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, there are some circumstances where we may need to disclose your personal information; we will only disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:-

  • If we are required to do so by law
  • We have your consent
  • If we sell or transfer our business
  • To third party organisations we have engaged to enable us to help provide or manage the services that we provide to you.

In this case we will ensure that those third party contractors or buyer are bound to protect your personal information. Other than as provided for above, Sunflower HR Ltd will not knowingly pass on, disclose, sell or provide your personal information to third parties, including sales data agencies or other agencies who require client lists for telemarketing.

Business Transitions
If Sunflower HR goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. If as a result of the business transition, the users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.

Privacy Policy Updates and Notification of Changes

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
